
Evan Arbit, D.O.
Evan Arbit, D.O. is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Lifestyle Medicine. Born and raised in Southeast Michigan, he earned his medical degree from Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency training in Physiatry at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Arbit has extensive experience caring for individuals with a wide range of neurological, rheumatologic, musculoskeletal, and other rehabilitation conditions across both inpatient and outpatient settings. He has special interests in electrodiagnostic testing (EMG), lifestyle medicine, and team-based rehabilitation. He is passionate about combining these approaches to create personalized, evidence-based care plans that help patients move, feel, and live better.
Dr. Arbit is excited to join Specialists in Rehabilitation Medicine and looks forward to helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their golden retriever, Gizmo. He also loves cooking, staying active, and exploring new places—near and far!
